Answer:
When a public form is submitted, it first creates a Public Student record in ampEducator — this stores the submission data but doesn’t yet create a Prospect or Student profile.
You can convert that submission to a Prospect or Student in two ways, depending on what you need:
View and Copy the Data:
Click the View Submission 🔍 icon to open the submission details.
From here, you can review all submitted fields and click Copy All Fields to save the form data into the Public Student record.
This prepares the data for conversion but doesn’t yet create a new Prospect or Student.
Convert the Submission:
Click the Convert Submission 👤➕ icon.
In the conversion window, you’ll see the submitted name, email, and location.
Select whether to convert the record to a Prospect or Student, and check Populate from Submission to automatically transfer the form data.
