Answer:
A Program GPA (PGPA) is calculated only from the courses that belong to the same program as the student’s active enrollment.
If any courses are assigned to a different program—or not linked to a program at all—they will not be included in the PGPA calculation.
To fix this, open the student’s profile and confirm that the correct program is selected under Academic > Programs. Then check Programs / Components to make sure the right courses are aligned with that program.
Sometimes inconsistencies appear because a student has more than one active program. In that case, make sure you are viewing the correct one before reviewing PGPA.
Also note that once a program is marked as Completed or Withdrawn, the PGPA becomes locked to preserve transcript accuracy. Any grade changes made after completion will not update the PGPA automatically. If a recalculation is required, temporarily reopen the program, refresh the grades, and then close it again once the totals are correct.
