How do I add students to a waitlist or manage course capacity?

Answer:

You can manage a course’s enrollment and waitlist capacity from the Course Details section.

Go to Courses → [Select Course] → Details.
Under the capacity fields, enter the Course Capacity and Waitlist Capacity.
Click Update Course Details to save.

Once capacity limits are set, ampEducator automatically enforces them when adding students.

If capacity is enforced and there’s no waitlist, you’ll get a capacity error when the course is full.
If a waitlist is enabled, additional students are assigned a “Waitlist” status until space opens up.
Waitlisted students can later be converted to “Enrolled” when capacity allows.
