Answer:
In order for ampEducator to send emails or SMS messages to a prospect, they must be opted in for communication.
If a prospect hasn’t been opted in yet — or is not currently opted in for any reason — you can update this from their profile:
1️⃣ Go to Prospect’s Profile → Details → Admin.
2️⃣ Find the Email List Status field.
3️⃣ Choose one of the following:
- Send Opt-In Link — emails the prospect a confirmation link to subscribe.
- Manual Opt In — immediately enables communication (only use this if the prospect has confirmed consent).
Once opted in, the status will show Opted In, and you’ll be able to send communications through ampEducator.
✅ Tip: If the prospect doesn’t receive the opt-in link, ask them to check their spam or junk folder.
