We’ve made important updates to how Academic Sessions function to improve accuracy and consistency across institutions. The current session is now determined automatically by the session set in Institution Config / Academic Sessions, which applies to all students by default.

When adding a new session to a student record, the Add Academic Session modal now includes streamlined fields for Academic Session, Registration Date, Charge Fees, and Notes. The “Make Current Session” option has been removed, as the system now automatically recognizes your institution’s configured current session.

These changes ensure that all students follow the same academic timeline, improving data consistency, reporting accuracy, and reducing manual setup.
